I’m Paul. I live in Brisbane, where I work in tech and commerce.

I started my career in the Marketing industry and quickly realised my passion was in commerce and tech. The first thing I built was an ecommerce startup that I bootstrapped to a multi-million dollar business. I then joined Shopify in 2018 in my mid 20's.

For the past 4.5 years, I've worked with Merchants and Product teams to make commerce better at Shopify. I work on the Shopify Plus team, with some of the largest and fastest growing brands in APAC. In my role, I work externally with enterprise merchants to remove technical roadblocks, and collaborate with Solutions and Product teams internally.

In 2020, I disovered the world of programming. Since then I have thrown myself into the world of development and cut my teeth with the open source learning pathway The Odin Project. I completed the Odin Project and have been building my own projects ever since.

Today, I'm continuing to build my skills and knowledge in the world of development and combining it with my industry expertise in commerce.
